Knut Fuchs Dumbbell Many years ago I discovered by chance that I always use the same dumbbell to teach apport to my dogs. It was a very old dumbbell and it had been worn down in the middle by generations of dogs. This however seemed to make it more comfortable fort he dogs to hold. WHICH LEAD TO FASTER LEARNING RESULTS: The dogs would hold this dumbbell firm and steady after a very short time. I started to modify dumbbells and this ist he result. The middle of this dumbbel is wieder and rather flat. Because of this the dog can use more teeth to hold the dumbbell . thus making it more comfortable fort he dog to hold. The small plastic strips prevent the dog from rolling the dumbbell in ist mout. I have been using this tool for many years with great success.

Attention: To fix the side parts, cylinder screws are turned into an internal threaded socket. If the screw is turned too tight, it may happen that the thread becomes attached to the screw and twists out. In this case, the socket can be twisted by the screw and fixed with a little glue in the wood. Please let it dry and then tighten the screw again.
An overturning of the screw is not a cause for complaint!
